Job Description:

Pay Range: $72hr - $77hr

The MDM Product Owner / Manager will be responsible for designing, implementing, and operating a Customer Master Data Management (MDM) platform using Profisee.
This role will lead solution architecture, platform operations, data quality enablement, and integrations while ensuring alignment with enterprise data governance, privacy, and security standards.
The role partners closely with engineering, data governance, stewardship, and business teams to deliver trusted customer golden records across the enterprise.

Responsibilities:

Design and evolve the Customer MDM solution using Profisee in alignment with enterprise data architecture standards.
Define customer entity models, attributes, hierarchies, and relationships.
Design and maintain match and merge rules, survivorship logic, and golden record strategies.
Establish publishing patterns to downstream systems including analytics, CRM, and operational platforms.
Ensure alignment with data governance policies, privacy requirements, and security controls.
Own Profisee platform configuration, environment management, and release lifecycle.
Administer models, rules, workflows, jobs, and integrations within the Profisee platform.
Manage platform upgrades, patches, and configuration changes.
Partner with infrastructure and cloud teams to ensure platform availability, performance, and scalability.
Lead day-to-day MDM operations including job monitoring, incident management, and defect resolution.
Define and manage SLAs for data latency, data quality, and operational reliability.
Oversee onboarding of new source systems and incremental domain enhancements.
Manage data corrections, reprocessing activities, and complex break-fix scenarios.
Partner with Data Governance and Stewardship teams to operationalize data quality rules and exception handling.
Enable stewardship workflows for data review, remediation, and approvals.
Support root-cause analysis of data quality issues impacting customer records.
Ensure transparency and traceability of customer mastering decisions.
Oversee development of source and downstream integrations using APIs, pipelines, and ETL/ELT processes.
Ensure reliable and performant data ingestion and publishing processes.
Lead performance tuning for matching, survivorship, and processing logic.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to MDM engineers and analysts.

Requirement / Must Have:

6 to 10 years of experience in Master Data Management, data engineering, or data platform operations.
Hands-on experience designing and operating Customer MDM solutions.
Direct experience implementing or administering Profisee or a comparable MDM platform.
Strong understanding of entity modeling, match and merge logic, survivorship, and publishing patterns.
Experience managing small technical teams and operational workloads.

Should Have:

Experience mastering customer data in regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, or insurance.
Familiarity with cloud-native data platforms including Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, and modern BI tools.
Understanding of privacy concepts such as PII, consent, retention, and data minimization in an MDM context.
Experience working closely with Data Governance, Privacy, and Security teams.
Exposure to Agile delivery models and product-oriented data teams.

Reduced data quality issues through proactive monitoring and stewardship enablement.
Strong collaboration across engineering, governance, and business stakeholders.
