Leidos Defense Rapid Integration and Prototyping Department is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. You will get the opportunity to design and influence important technologies for DoD customers. Your work directly impacts national defense by enhancing and providing situational awareness for service members in varied environments around the world.

Primary Responsibilities

• The successful candidate will be responsible for leading designs and working within multi-discipline teams to develop and execute challenging tasks.
• The candidate will produce technical data packages including part drawings, assembly drawings, source control documents, and interface control documents per ASME Y14.

Basic Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering with 4+ years of relevant experience or Masters degree with 2+ years of relevant experience; 4 additional years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Experience in design and/or analysis of mechanical systems including technical data package production per ASME Y14.100 & Y14.5.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• 4+ years of leadership experience (teams or projects)

Pay Range:
Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00
