Summary

Description
We are seeking two experienced Lead Technicians to join our Montgomery-based team. In this role, you will support a variety of structured cabling projects involving network infrastructure, fiber optics, and copper cabling systems. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong technical expertise, the ability to manage field crews, and a commitment to delivering high-quality installations.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, terminate, and test UTP, fiber optic, and multi-conductor copper cabling infrastructure.
Perform cable testing, troubleshooting, and certification of permanent links using industry-standard testing equipment.
Complete installation documentation, as-built drawings, test results, and quality assurance reports.
Conduct site surveys and assess project requirements prior to installation activities.
Coordinate project activities with project managers, engineers, customers, and other stakeholders.
Lead, mentor, and manage crews of technicians and installers in the field.
Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards and customer specifications.
Maintain project schedules and provide progress updates to project leadership.

Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of verifiable experience in low-voltage / telecommunications
Experience with structured cabling installations, including copper and fiber optic systems.
Proven ability to lead field teams and oversee installation projects.
Knowledge of industry standards, testing procedures, and certification requirements.
Experience using cable testing and certification equipment.
Ability to read and interpret project drawings, schematics, and installation documentation.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to travel locally to project sites as needed.

This is a Permanent position based out of Montgomery, AL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62499.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
