Job Purpose
Responsible for managing the ITL team and the department efforts to achieve or exceed revenue targets. Leads complex R&D projects related to incoming technology transfer, productization, new product introductions, yield improvement, cycle time reductions and other improvements. Engages directly with customers to guide company efforts specific to the project.

Leads various engineering and Operations organizations to meet milestones, resolve conflicts and align priorities, including cross-functional teams without formal authority
Drive and manage the technology execution of projects
Co-create with customers and resolve technical as well as tactical issues
Prepare and present project reviews to peers, executives and customers
Define objective specification documents based on customer milestone requirements and develop integrated process modules to meet those objective specs
Correlate output device parameters to inline Fab measurements/metrics and processes
Prepare design of experiments and statistical process control methods to develop macro modules
Consult and participate hands-on fab inspection for complex issues

Supervisory Responsibilities
Accomplishes department objectives by organizing and monitoring the work of direct reports. Responsible for recruiting, onboarding, training, developing, setting goals and priorities, monitoring performance, coaching, and managing time of direct reports.
Work Environment
Work is primarily performed in a temperature-controlled, open cubicle setting. Frequent interruptions and conversational noise can be expected.

Constantly viewing a computer monitor for prolonged periods
Frequently walking around the Fab for prolonged periods
Occasionally required to push and/or pull 50+ lbs objects, such as tool components

Occasionally required to reach, bend, twist, squat, kneel, and stoop to access and work on tools in the Fab
May often require repetitive motions involving the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
May require different positions and motions in tight and confined spaces
Occasionally required to handle items using small ranges of motion (e.g., fingers and hands) and large ranges of motion (e.g., full arms and shoulders) for carrying cassettes and lot boxes

Required Education and Experience
8+ years industrial experience in Semiconductor/MEMS based technology with experience in a variety of applications and processes
Project management experience and team leadership experience
Prior experience and strong knowledge in Fab Process Technology using typical semiconductor process equipment like CVD, PVD, Etch, Cleans, Photo-Lithography, CMP
Knowledge of element interactions, process mixing and contamination
Memory and/or MEMS process integration, including failure analysis, defect analysis, FMEA s to enable prototyping to robust manufacturing solutions
Master s degree or PhD in Materials Engineering, Physics, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar field
Preferred Education and Experience
PhD degree in Materials Engineering, Physics, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar field
Understanding of intellectual property and confidentiality
Six Sigma knowledge
