TMHCC Stop Loss, a $2 Billion division within TMHCC, leads the way in providing medical stop loss insurance sold to employers. Position Summary:
The Full Stack Development Intern (.NET/SQL) supports the Software Development team in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining enterprise applications. This role provides hands-on experience in modern full stack development using C#, .NET, SQL Server, and web technologies.

Working under direct supervision, the intern contributes to real project work while learning Agile development practices, version control, CI/CD pipelines, secure coding standards, and AI-assisted development tools. This position is designed to build foundational technical skills and prepare the intern for future growth within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in developing and maintaining applications using C#, .NET, and SQL Server.
  • Write, test, and debug basic features, enhancements, and defect fixes.
  • Support development of APIs and integrations between systems.
  • Create and modify SQL queries, views, and stored procedures under guidance.
  • Participate in code reviews and apply established coding standards and best practices.
  • Assist with front-end development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks as applicable.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Use version control systems (Git) and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
  • Utilize AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Copilot or similar) under supervision to improve productivity and code quality.
  • Support secure coding practices and follow application security standards.
  • Document technical changes, features, and development processes.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA analysts, and business stakeholders to resolve issues and deliver solutions.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education, Experience & Knowledge:
  • 60 completed college hours from an accredited college or university and an average grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher. Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
  • No professional experience required. Internship, coursework, or academic project experience in software development preferred.
  • Possess and have ability to apply basic knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Coursework or hands-on experience in C#, .NET
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with SQL and relational database concepts.
  • Basic understanding of APIs and application architecture concepts preferred.
  • Familiarity with Git or other version control systems preferred.
  • Interest in Agile development and DevOps practices.
  • Interest in AI-assisted coding tools and modern development environments.
  • Hybrid work schedule - 3 days in the Kennesaw, GA office, 2 days remote
