Instructional designer - E- Learning Developer - contract to Hire

Vega is hiring! Instructional designer for our direct client. Must be local to the metro DC area. Candidates must be eligible for perm employment. Sponsorship is not available.

The Senior Instructional Designer will spearhead the development and delivery of critical training programs. You will play a pivotal role in preparing the organization by creating visually stunning e-learning modules and facilitating high-impact training sessions for internal staff.

Job Description & Requirement:

• Design and develop end-to-end learning products including e-learning, micro-learning, webinars, and digitized presentations
• Facilitate Instructor-Led Training (ILT) and Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT) sessions
• Partner with business leaders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to analyze business needs into scalable learning solutions
• Manage the full instructional design lifecycle using ADDIE and SAM methodologies
• Create multimedia content for upcoming software migrations, including ServiceNow and new contact center phone systems
• Utilize authoring tools apps such as Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, Articulate 360 (Storyline + Rise).
• LMS experience current tools are PeopleSoft/Oracle and SharePoint
• Facilitate instructor-led training (ILT) or virtual ILT
• Excellent written and verbal communication presenting to stakeholders and cross functional teams

Preferred Skills

• Healthcare or insurance background preferred
• Cloud LMS experience
• Experience facilitating training design to large or distributed temporary/contingent workforces
