Salary: $100,000.00 USD Annually - $120,000.00 USD Annually
Description: Position SummaryWe are seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer to serve as the primary business-facing representative of our data team. This role is focused on enabling end users through high-quality reporting, self-service analytics, training, and responsive support. You will be deeply embedded with stakeholders, helping them understand, trust, and act on data.
Key Responsibilities- Design, build, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for reporting and data-related questions
- Run trainings, office hours, and enablement sessions to drive self-service adoption
- Respond to and prioritize support tickets and reporting issues
- Translate business requirements into scalable, reliable analytics solutions
- Write optimized SQL and DAX to support reporting and ad-hoc analysis
- Partner with Data Engineering on data models, ETL improvements, and performance tuning
- Monitor and maintain report accuracy, reliability, and availability
- Enforce data governance and documentation best practices
- Mentor team members and contribute to analytics standards and processes
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- Senior-level experience in business intelligence or analytics
- Expert-level Power BI experience
- Strong SQL and DAX skills, Python or R a plus
- Solid understanding of data modeling and ETL concepts
- Experience working directly with non-technical stakeholders
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Comfort operating in a fast-paced, multi-priority environment
