Summary

As a Drug Rebate Specialist at Gainwell, you will support Medicaid drug rebate operations by ensuring accurate processing, resolving disputes, and maintaining compliance with state and federal guidelines. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in drug rebate programs, pharmacy operations, or Medicaid environments who thrives in a detail-oriented, fast-paced setting.

Your role in our mission

  • Support Drug Rebate operations, ensuring timely and accurate dispute resolution across Medicaid and pharmacy programs
  • Monitor workflows, prioritize high-materiality disputes, and track productivity and quality metrics
  • Collaborate with manufacturers, providers, clients, and internal stakeholders to achieve program goals
  • Support training, mentoring, and knowledge sharing for team members and new hires
  • Update, maintain and build drug rebate policy and procedure documents.


What we're looking for

  • 1+ year of experience working with Medicaid drug rebate programs or pharmacy-related operations
  • Experience in PBM, pharmacy technician roles, Medicaid, or healthcare claims environments
  • Strong understanding of healthcare compliance, Medicaid policy, and HIPAA standards
  • Demonstrated analytical skills with ability to research discrepancies and resolve issues
  • Proficiency in Excel and basic reporting tools

  • Onsite role at: 301 Technacenter Drive, Montgomery, AL 36117
  • Must reside within driving distance and be able to report onsite daily
  • Monday-Friday schedule aligned with business needs
  • Fast-paced, high-volume environment requiring attention to detail and accuracy

The pay range for this position is $28,500.00 - $40,700.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
