RAN Virtualization OA&M Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a RAN Virtualization OA&M Engineer with strong experience in OAMP/FCAPS, OSS, EMS/NMS, and 4G/5G RAN network management. The ideal candidate will serve as a Tier 3 SME supporting commercial wireless network deployments, troubleshooting complex network management issues, and driving root cause analysis with R&D teams.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with OAMP, FCAPS, OSS, EMS/NMS, and RAN network elements
• Experience supporting 4G/5G wireless networks
• Tier 3 SME experience troubleshooting EMS/NMS application issues
• Experience with OAMP/FCAPS subsystem design and development
• Experience creating and implementing EMS/NMS software upgrade MOPs
• Strong knowledge of SNMP, TNM, OSS/NMS interfaces
• Experience with TR-069, NETCONF, YANG Models, and REST APIs
• Strong Linux/Unix administration and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with Shell, Perl, or TCL scripting
• Experience with High Availability (HA) and redundancy systems
• Bachelor''s Degree in EE, CS, Telecommunications, or related field

Preferred Qualifications

• NFV experience with vCU/vDU architectures
• OpenStack and Kubernetes experience
• Knowledge of ONAP, ETSI MANO, and OASIS TOSCA
• VMware/OpenStack performance tuning
• Understanding of 3GPP Core and RAN architectures
• Experience with SR-IOV, VirtIO, VLANs, SAN, NAS, and iSCSI
• Java, J2EE, JavaScript, SOAP, XML, HTML, and Web Services experience

Responsibilities

• Support OAMP/FCAPS subsystem integration and troubleshooting.
• Act as Tier 3 SME for EMS/NMS application support.
• Drive RCA investigations with R&D teams.
• Support deployment of virtualized RAN and network management solutions.
• Translate customer requirements into technical solutions.
• Support software releases, upgrades, and new feature introductions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customer stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance during customer engagements and product rollouts.
