Responsibilities
- Lead and organize project planning activities, defining deliverables, crucial milestones, and cost assessments.
- Efficiently manage project reports, timelines, and financial documentation.
- Proactively identify risks and resolve issues, escalating when necessary to maintain project momentum.
- Clearly communicate project status and priorities to stakeholders, aligning them with strategic business goals.
Skills
- Over a decade of project management experience with a proven track record in managing complex, budget-conscious projects over $5M.
- Demonstrated expertise in steering large-scale software implementations from design through deployment.
- Strong background in managing vendors, from RFP processes to creating statements of work.
- Strong financial insight, particularly in budget forecasting and accrual-based accounting principles.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in utility or geographic information system (GIS) projects.
- Knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall project delivery methodologies.
