Job SummaryThis role is responsible for leading the design, development, governance, and evolution of enterprise-grade data solutions supporting the Commercial Data & Technology portfolio. The Senior Consultant, Data Governance and Insights will ensure data sources are aligned to enterprise architecture standards, that attribute definitions are consistent across solutions, and that data governance repositories remain accurate and actionable.
The role will champion the consolidation of overlapping metrics and reporting into standardized platforms, enabling a single source of truth for Commercial analytics while supporting modernization initiatives across cloud, reporting, and data integration technologies.
Responsibilities- Partner with Enterprise Architecture and Commercial Solutions & Analytics product owners to ensure data sources, integrations, and platforms align with the enterprise data warehousing and analytics roadmap
- Establish, maintain, and enforce consistent data definitions, hierarchies, and attribute standards across Commercial solutions
- Own and govern enterprise data definition repositories (e.g., Collibra), ensuring metadata is accurate, current, and actively used by analytics and business teams
- Lead efforts to consolidate disparate reporting and overlapping metrics into standardized, scalable reporting platforms
- Support and guide data migrations and platform transitions, ensuring data integrity, continuity, and stakeholder alignment
- Collaborate with technical and business partners to translate complex data landscapes, models, and hierarchies into clear, actionable insights for non-technical audiences
- Evaluate and leverage modern data platforms and tools to improve data accessibility, quality, and performance
- Identify opportunities to incorporate emerging capabilities (e.g., AI-enabled analytics) where they add measurable business value
Qualifications- 8-12 years of experience, preferred
- Bachelor's degree in related field, preferred, or equivalent work experience, preferred
- Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud (Data 360), preferred, including supported connectors, zero-copy architectures, and data activation patterns, preferred
- Familiarity with enterprise reporting and analytics platforms such as Tableau and/or Looker, preferred
- Experience supporting or leading data migrations between platforms (on-prem to cloud, cloud-to-cloud, reporting platform consolidation, etc.), preferred
- Hands-on or working knowledge of modern data and analytics technologies, including: Google Cloud Platform/BigQuery, Databricks, Alteryx, Microsoft SQL Server, SAP HANA, preferred
- Exposure to AI-driven analytics, preferred, including Generative AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), or Model Context Protocols (MCP), is a plus but not required
Anticipated salary range: $123,400 - $176,300
