Summary

Process Improvement Consultant

Location: Queens, NY (Hybrid)
Contract Duration: 12 months

Role Summary

  • Objective: Drive operational excellence and scale business performance.
  • Approach: Use data analysis, stakeholder interviews, and process mapping.
  • Methodologies: Apply Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen frameworks. [, , , , , ]

Key Responsibilities

  • Process Assessment: Review current procedures and map existing workflows.
  • Bottleneck Identification: Find operational roadblocks, quality gaps, and waste points.
  • Solution Design: Build improved, standardized workflows and automation strategies.
  • Implementation: Roll out changes, lead team training, and support adoption.
  • Performance Tracking: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure long-term success. [, , ]

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience: 3 to 7+ years of experience in continuous improvement or operational change.
  • Certifications: Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in process mapping software (Visio, Lucidchart) and data tools.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities
