Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Microsoft Cloud Engineer to provide technical leadership and operational support for enterprise Microsoft cloud environments, including Microsoft 365, Azure, and Microsoft Security platforms. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in cloud architecture, security, identity management, endpoint management, and compliance frameworks such as NIST and FedRAMP.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, operate, and optimize Microsoft 365, Azure, and Microsoft Security environments.
  • Implement and maintain security architectures aligned with NIST SP 800-53NIST SP 800-207 (Zero Trust Architecture), and FedRAMP Moderate requirements.
  • Administer and secure Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, Privileged Access Management, and least-privilege models.
  • Manage and support Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, and other M365 workloads.
  • Provide engineering support for Azure infrastructure, networking, and application workloads.
  • Configure and manage Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, and Purview solutions.
  • Manage Intune, endpoint compliance policies, and Windows Autopilot deployments.
  • Implement reporting and dashboards using Power BI for health monitoring, compliance, and Azure cost management.
  • Support incident response, disaster recovery, change management, and technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity and infrastructure teams to resolve complex technical issues.

Required Experience

  • 10+ years of IT Infrastructure and Cloud Engineering experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise Microsoft Cloud environments.
  • Experience managing environments with 700+ endpoints.
  • Strong experience with Hybrid Active Directory, MFA implementations, Smart Cards, and FIDO authentication.
  • Experience creating technical documentation, SOPs, and training materials.
  • Ability to work independently and provide senior-level technical leadership.

Required Certifications (Current)

Candidates should possess most or all of the following certifications:

  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert
  • Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Information Security Administrator Associate

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Federal Government environments.
  • Familiarity with FISMA, IRS 1075, and FedRAMP requirements.
  • Experience with security audits and compliance assessments.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
