Business Analyst - Non-IT 4 (8-10 years)

Description

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Chicago, Illinois. In this role, you will focus on creating impactful data visualizations and delivering strategic insights that support business decision-making. This position combines technical expertise, creative problem-solving, and collaboration to develop innovative solutions that enhance data-driven processes.

Responsibilities:
Design and implement data visualization and business intelligence tools to facilitate informed decision-making.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and create wireframes, prototypes, and mock-ups that align with business objectives.
Develop innovative solutions to transform complex datasets into clear and actionable insights.
Identify and resolve challenges related to data quality, infrastructure, and visualization tools.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and incorporate them into business intelligence processes to maintain a competitive edge.
Establish and contribute to best practices, standards, and strategies for data analysis and visualization.
Partner with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and technology, to transition prototypes into fully functional solutions.
Monitor and evaluate the impact of visualizations and tools by gathering stakeholder feedback and refining outputs as needed.
Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data used in all visualizations and analyses.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining efficiency and meeting deadlines.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Data Science, or a related discipline.
At least 5 years of experience in business intelligence, data visualization, or a similar analytical role.
Expertise in Power BI, Tableau, or comparable data visualization tools.
Strong knowledge of SQL, APIs, and other data integration technologies.
Proven ability to create data visualizations that lead to actionable insights and measurable outcomes.
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Solid understanding of visual design principles and their application in data storytelling.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
