Express Employment of Covina is seeking a Stockroom Clerk for our client located in Claremont.
Hours: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Pay Rate: $17.50/hour
Job Summary:We are currently seeking a Stockroom Clerk to support inventory and production operations by receiving, organizing, and maintaining stockroom materials. The ideal candidate will have stockroom or warehouse experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while supporting production needs.
Responsibilities:- Receive and count stock items and record data manually or using computer systems.
- Pack and unpack materials to be stocked in shelves, stockrooms, warehouses, or storage areas.
- Verify inventory counts by comparing physical inventory to system records and investigate discrepancies.
- Store materials in an organized and accessible manner.
- Perform stock checks as needed.
- Move products through the assembly process from start to finish.
- Navigate customer requests through AskHim or other programs.
- Read and understand production routers and drawings.
- Follow departmental processes and maintain accurate inventory records.
Requirements:- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Minimum stockroom or warehouse experience, or a combination of education and experience.
- Working command of the English language, both written and verbal.
- Good work ethics and a positive attitude when working with others.
- Ability to use computer systems and inventory programs.
- Knowledge of calipers, micrometers, and scales preferred.
