Summary

Job Title: Template Designer (Lead & Junior Positions)

Location : Remote

Key Responsibilities

For Both Roles

• Design, configure, and maintain document templates using the internal template design tool.
• Develop and enhance templates used for Claims and Pre-Estimate Letters and other business communications.
• Support migration of existing Crystal Report templates to the new platform.
• Implement business rules, conditional logic, and dynamic content within templates.
• Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver accurate, high-quality outputs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to template logic, formatting, and data integration.
• Partner with QA and development teams to test and validate template functionality and results.
• Ensure consistency, performance, and reliability across all templates.




Lead Template Designer (Additional Responsibilities)

• Lead template design efforts and drive standards, best practices, and governance.
• Mentor and guide junior designers to ensure quality and consistency.
• Participate in planning, estimation, and technical solution discussions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support template modernization and automation initiatives.
• Act as the primary point of contact for complex template design challenges.




Required Skills & Qualifications (Both Positions)

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).

Programming experience to implement business rules and logic within templates.

o Preferred: MS .NET, Python, or React.

Strong MS SQL/SQL Server experience including stored procedures, functions, and queries.

Experience with procedural or logic-based programming.

Familiarity with Crystal Reports or similar reporting tools (hands-on experience is a plus).

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.




Preferred / Nice-to-Have

• Knowledge of Health and/or Dental Insurance domain.
• Exposure to claims processing, benefits administration, or related workflows.
• Experience with report migration, document automation, or template generation tools.
