.NET Full-Stack Developer (Azure) in Albany, NY (Hybrid)

Job Title: .NET Lead (ASP.NET Core / Azure)

Location: Menands, NY (Albany) Hybrid (50% Onsite)

Role Overview:

• We are seeking a hands-on .NET Lead with strong full-stack development experience to lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable web applications.
• This role requires a mix of technical leadership and hands-on coding, working closely with project managers, business stakeholders, and development teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end development using ASP.NET Core (front-end + back-end)
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Participate in architecture, design discussions, and code reviews
• Build responsive, user-friendly UI and develop robust Web APIs
• Write unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor developers
• Support application lifecycle, including enhancements and production support

Required Skills & Experience:

• The ideal candidate should have 12+ years of experience with ASP.NET Core, with a strong focus on building visually appealing front-end applications, along with solid backend development using C#, Web API, and Entity Framework Core.
• Must have 4+ years of experience working with Microsoft Azure, including cloud-based application development using services such as Azure Functions, Service Bus, and Storage solutions.
• Strong experience with JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, and modern UI development practices is required.
• Proficiency in SQL Server and T-SQL, including writing complex queries and stored procedures, is essential.
• Hands-on experience with unit testing frameworks (xUnit/NUnit) and familiarity with tools like Git/TFS, Azure DevOps, and JIRA is expected.
• A solid understanding of application architecture, SOA principles, and design standards is required.
