Field Service Tech (2 - Remote)

Hiring Field Service Technicians with an Electro-Mechanical background and manufacturing industry 

Industry: Packaging/Labeling Manufacturing
Location: remotely-based
Travel: 75-85% throughout US 

Compensation: $40-45/hr W2 (Overtime Paid each day if over 8 hrs)

Travel Details:

• Technicians each get their own company credit card and book travel on their own through the company's travel agency, within the Concur system.
• Usually solo travel but can be two technicians if the scope of work is larger and the need would be best handled together.

Requirements:

• Electro-Mechanical background
• Allen-Bradley PLCs
• Pneumatic machinery
• Servo driven motors and controls
• Stepper motors and controls
• 6+ years in a relevant Service Tech support role in the manufacturing space

Responsibilities:

• On-site training of customers’ operators and technicians on set-up, operation, change-over and maintenance of the systems
• Assemble component parts for the Aftermarket parts group, engage in occasional machine rebuilds/upgrades, research machine designs to identify non-standard parts.
• Prepare detailed trip reports for the customer and company that identify problems encountered, actions taken to resolve the problems, and recommended next steps to satisfy the customer’s service needs
