Must have strong hands-on experience administering Azure IaaS environments, Windows Server (2016/2019/2022), VMware vSphere/ESXi, and Active Directory including GPOs, DNS, and DHCP. The engineer should be proficient in incident and change management using ITSM tools, possess strong troubleshooting skills, and have working knowledge of PowerShell scripting. Ability to work independently in an onsite, production critical environment with on call support responsibilities is essential.

Roles & Responsibilities
The Infrastructure Onsite Server Engineer is responsible for administering and supporting Azure IaaS environments, including virtual machines, networking, storage, backup, and availability services, while providing robust Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) administration such as installation, patching, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in VMware vSphere/ESXi/vCenter for VM provisioning, lifecycle management, upgrades, and performance optimization, along with managing Active Directory, GPOs, DNS, and authentication services. The engineer will monitor system health, support backup and disaster recovery operations, handle incidents and changes through ITSM processes, collaborate with cross functional teams, and participate in on call support to ensure high availability of production systems.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to coordinate with customers, vendors, and internal teams
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage workloads, and meet SLA commitments in a production environment
• Effective incident coordination and escalation management during outages or critical issues
• Experience in change planning and risk assessment to minimize business impact
• Good documentation and reporting skills, including status updates and operational metrics
• Ability to work independently with a high level of ownership, accountability, and decision making
