Job Description Mission Technologies, a division of HII, is hiring a
Cloud DevSecOps Engineer to support its customer
Omni Federal. The position is
hybrid , allowing work from home with on-site support at a government facility in Hanover, MD as needed.
You will be the bridge between rapid development and ironclad security. You'll be responsible for building the automated "factories" that deploy mission-critical applications to secure cloud environments, ensuring that security is never an afterthought, but a built-in feature of the code.

Essential Job Responsibilities - CI/CD Pipeline Orchestration: Design, build, and maintain automated pipelines that integrate security scanning (SAST/DAST), automated testing, and seamless deployment.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Manage multi-cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GovCloud) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation to ensure repeatable, audited environments.
- Security Integration: Implement "Shift-Left" security practices. You'll integrate container scanning (Trivy, Anchore) and compliance monitoring into the heart of the development lifecycle.
- Cloud Governance: Monitor and optimize cloud spend, performance, and security posture using Kubernetes-native tools and cloud-specific dashboards.
- Collaborative Scaling: Work closely with software engineers to containerize legacy workloads (Docker/Kubernetes) and modernize mission-critical systems.
Minimum Qualifications - 5 years experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
- Experience with Terraforms
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, or Go).
- Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure (GovCloud experience is a major plus).
- Must possess an active US level Secret Clearance with the ability to qualify for TS/SCI
Preferred Requirements - An active US level TS/SCI clearance
