Position: SAP ABAP Developer
Location: Jackson, Michigan (MI)
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with strong hands-on expertise in SAP S/4HANA development and SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM). The ideal candidate will have experience in SAP PM, QM, and PS, along with expertise in modern ABAP development, CDS Views, AMDP, Fiori Elements, and OData services.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain SAP ABAP solutions.
Work closely with functional and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Develop and enhance SAP S/4HANA applications supporting EAM business processes.
Perform code reviews, performance optimization, SQL tuning, and production support.
Prepare technical specifications, estimates, impact analyses, and development documentation.
Support implementation, enhancement, integration, UAT, and deployment activities.
Follow SAP development standards and offshore-onsite delivery practices.
Required Skills:
8–10 years of SAP ABAP development experience.
Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA and ABAP Objects.
Hands-on expertise in CDS Views, AMDP, SAP HANA optimization, and code pushdown.
Experience with SAP Fiori Elements and OData Services.
Strong knowledge of enhancements, User Exits, BADIs, ALV Reports, BAPIs, RFC, ALE/IDoc, and Web Services.
Mandatory: Strong SAP EAM domain knowledge with hands-on experience in SAP PM, QM, and PS.
Experience with maintenance orders, notifications, preventive maintenance, equipment, functional locations, inspections, and project execution.
Knowledge of Adobe Forms, Smart Forms, data migration, Workflow, and output management.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer-facing skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with SAP RAP and SAP S/4HANA EAM implementations.
Exposure to SAP Asset Manager and mobile maintenance solutions.
Knowledge of integration with MM, FI, Asset Accounting, and HCM.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
