Job Summary

We are looking for a QE Lead specializing in API and Web Testing (Manual + Automation) to join the CNBC team. This role focuses on delivering high-quality testing solutions across web applications and APIs, while leading QA efforts and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead QA activities for web applications and API testing projects
  • Collaborate with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders
  • Perform manual API testing using tools like Postman and Swagger
  • Validate API endpoints, payloads, and responses for accuracy and reliability
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java, Selenium, and REST Assured
  • Ensure automation aligns with Agile practices and supports in-sprint testing
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues using tools like Git, Jira, and Jenkins
  • Mentor team members and drive best practices in QA and automation

Required Skills

  • Strong experience in Web and API Testing (Manual + Automation)
  • Hands-on expertise with Selenium, Java, TestNG, and REST Assured
  • Experience with Postman and Swagger for API validation
  • Solid understanding of automation frameworks for APIs and web applications
  • Experience working in Agile environments
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter
  • Knowledge of Playwright and TypeScript-based frameworks
  • Exposure to modern web/API testing frameworks

Soft Skills

  • Strong communication (verbal and written)
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business teams
  • Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities
