Astronomer / Apache Airflow Data Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer to lead the implementation and adoption of Astronomer / Apache Airflow within a modern Data Engineering platform built around Snowflake and dbt.

This is a hands-on, delivery-focused contract. You will take technical ownership of establishing Astronomer as a production-ready, scalable, observable and cost-effective orchestration capability, working alongside our existing Data Engineering and platform teams.

Establish a production-ready Astronomer / Airflow implementation and associated engineering standards.

• Define reusable orchestration patterns for dbt and Snowflake workloads.
• Implement robust CI/CD, testing and deployment patterns for DAGs.

What we are looking for

• Apache Airflow, ideally Astronomer / Astro, in production environments.
• Python and production-quality DAG development.
• Snowflake and dbt.
