Primary Location: Richmond, Virginia

V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for an IT Trainer 4 for our premier client in Richmond, Virginia.

Education and Experience »

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2–5 years of experience in application training, software implementation, or user education.
Strong presentation and facilitation skills for diverse audiences.
Experience developing training materials using tools such as PowerPoint, LMS platforms, or video authoring software.
Ability to explain technical concepts in a clear, user-friendly manner.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Adaptability to different learning styles and technical skill levels.
Analytical mindset with attention to detail.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Job Responsibilities:

Deliver instructor-led and virtual training sessions for new and existing applications.
Develop and maintain training materials, including user guides, quick reference sheets, videos, and e-learning modules.
Customize training content based on user roles, workflows, and system configurations.
Conduct training needs assessments and recommend appropriate learning approaches.
Evaluate training effectiveness and incorporate feedback for continuous improvement.
Support application rollouts, upgrades, and system changes through targeted training initiatives.
Provide hands-on system demonstrations and facilitate interactive learning sessions.
Collaborate with Health Services, Health IT, and vendor teams to align training with system capabilities.
Maintain training schedules, attendance records, and completion metrics.
Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on application functionality and workflows.
