Job Description:
Job Title – SAP Architect
Location – Washington, DC
Duration – 12 Months
Direct client
Client seeks a strategic leader to architect SAP data, analytics, and AI ecosystems—including S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, DataSphere, and SAC—ensuring trusted, interoperable solutions aligned with enterprise data platforms. This role drives high-impact standards, mentor teams, and accelerates shovel-ready SAP initiatives for superior data quality and business outcomes.
Essential Functions:
Lead SAP data, analytics, and AI across product/platform teams.
Define standards for DataSphere, BW/4HANA, SAC, CDS views, and S/4HANA integrations.
Design semantic/virtualized models and pipelines blending SAP/non-SAP sources.
Mentor engineers with documented, production-ready SAP designs.
Align SAP efforts with enterprise architecture, product, and governance
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors in CS, IS, Data Engineering (master’s preferred).
Experience: 8+ years SAP data engineering/analytics with technical leadership.
Qualification:
SAP modernization (BW/4HANA migration, DataSphere/S/4HANA adoption).
MDG, data quality, AI/ML enablement, SAP-functional/cloud integrations.
Relevant SAP/cloud certifications.
Note: SAP S/4HANA migration experience strongly preferred
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Expertise in SAP DataSphere, BW/4HANA, S/4HANA, CDS, SAC, integrations (e.g., Databricks/Azure).
Data modeling, metadata/master data governance, virtualization, semantic layers.
Translating SAP into agile architectural guidance; proven hybrid SAP/cloud leadership.
Mentorship, collaboration, simplifying complex SAP for stakeholders.
