Summary

Our team is partnering with a rapidly growing technology and infrastructure organization seeking a Service Desk Technician to join their IT Operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for an IT professional who enjoys hands-on troubleshooting while gaining exposure to systems, networking, virtualization, and modern cloud-managed environments.

Location: Houston, TX
Employment Type: Contract, In office Monday-Friday 


 What You’ll Do: 

  • Provide Tier 1 & Tier 2 technical support to internal users
  • Support Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and Office Suite
  • Troubleshoot Windows and macOS devices, peripherals, and mobile platforms
  • Manage endpoint devices through modern device management tools
  • Perform user onboarding/offboarding, access provisioning, and device deployment
  • Assist with server administration, virtualization platforms, and backup operations
  • Troubleshoot wired/wireless connectivity, VPN access, and network-related issues
  • Support infrastructure upgrades alongside senior engineering teams
  • Maintain documentation, knowledge base articles, and ticket resolution records

What We’re Looking For:

  • 2+ years of Service Desk, Help Desk, or Desktop Support experience
  • Strong Microsoft 365 and endpoint troubleshooting background
  • Experience supporting laptops, mobile devices, and enterprise users
  • Familiarity with endpoint management tools and user account administration
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
  • Strong communication skills and customer-first mindset

Nice to Have:
Exposure to Windows Server, Linux environments, virtualization platforms, enterprise networking hardware, or backup solutions.
