SAIC is seeking Cloud Administrators to join the Machine-assisted Analytic Rapid-repository System (MARS) Advanced Development Operations (DevOps) and Sustainment Support (ADOS) program and provide on-site technical and administrative support to facilitate operations of critical MARS infrastructure and services. This effort focuses on providing a comprehensive set of System/ Software Engineering and IT Services to maintain, sustain, enhance, and improve/ modernize MARS.

This position will be located in the National Capital Region.

Please note that this is contingent upon contract award, with an anticipated decision expected by Winter/ Spring 2026.

The Cloud Administrator responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Designs, plans, and integrates cloud computing and virtualization systems
  • Provides specific, detailed information for hardware and software selection, cloud service provider selection, implementation techniques, application & data migration techniques and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements
  • Develops and conducts testing of cloud and virtualization systems
  • Maintains technical expertise relevant industry standards and in cloud computing and virtualization technologies such as cloud service provider architecture, design, and configuration; cloud deployment models including public, community, private, and hybrid; cloud service delivery models including infrastructure-, platform-, and software-as-a-service; automation; hypervisors; containers; virtual compute, storage, and networks; virtual infrastructure management; self-provisioning; and scaling
  • Evaluates and reports on new cloud and virtualization technologies to enhance capabilities of cloud-based and virtualized services
  • Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints
  • Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications


Qualifications
?
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • Bachelors degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, or Software Engineering and 5 years or more experience (will consider an additional 4+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree)
  • One or more active Certifications: SecurityX/ CASP+, CCSP, Cloud+, CSSLP, CISSP-ISSAP, CISSP-ISSEP, CISSO, GSEC, GDSA, SA
  • Experience in managing and maintaining cloud environments, implementing cloud solutions, and ensuring system availability and performance
  • Proficiency in cloud management tools, monitoring cloud resources, and optimizing cloud costs
  • Strong understanding of cloud security practices and compliance requirements


Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
