Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) Architect to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud solutions on the Google Google Cloud Platform environment. The ideal candidate will lead cloud architecture initiatives, support migration strategies, optimize cloud infrastructure, and collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and security teams to deliver enterprise cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures on Google Cloud Platform.
• Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives for enterprise applications.
• Architect solutions using Google Cloud Platform services such as:
  • Compute Engine
  • Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
  • Cloud Storage
  • BigQuery
  • Cloud SQL
  • VPC Networking
  • IAM
• Develop cloud governance, security, and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
• Optimize cloud performance, availability, scalability, and cost management.
• Support disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity planning.
• Monitor cloud environments and troubleshoot infrastructure issues.
• Provide technical leadership, architecture guidance, and best practices to project teams.
• Create and maintain architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and operational procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform services and architecture.
• Deep understanding of:
  • Cloud networking
  • Security architecture
  • Identity and access management
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Containerization and orchestration
• Experience with:
  • Kubernetes
  • Docker
  • Terraform
  • CI/CD tools
  • Linux administration
• Knowledge of scripting/programming languages such as:
  • Python
  • Bash
  • Go (preferred)
• Familiarity with hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in:
  • Computer Science
  • Information Technology
  • Engineering
  • Related field
• Relevant certifications preferred:
  • Google Professional Cloud Architect
  • Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer
• Experience with enterprise-scale cloud deployments and migrations.
• Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks.
