Russell Tobin is supporting a major U.S. airline in the search for a Sourcing Manager to support contract management and vendor relationships related to aircraft engines and associated components. This role will focus heavily on managing and analyzing contracts with engine and component vendors that support aircraft maintenance and operations.

This position is highly data-driven and contract-focused, requiring strong analytical skills and advanced Excel capabilities. The Sourcing Manager will work closely with internal teams and vendor partners to evaluate contract performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure vendor agreements align with operational and financial goals.

This is a fully remote 12-month W2 contract with the potential to convert to a permanent position based on performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain vendor contracts related to aircraft engines, auxiliary power units (APUs), and associated components.
• Coordinate the distribution, tracking, and documentation of vendor contracts.
• Review and analyze contract data to determine cost effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Extract and analyze contract data using advanced Excel tools including pivot tables, formulas, and reporting functions.
• Support cost savings initiatives by evaluating vendor agreements and identifying areas for optimization.
• Maintain detailed documentation and reporting related to contract performance and vendor compliance.
• Partner with cross-functional teams including supply chain, maintenance, finance, legal, and operations.
• Monitor vendor contract terms and ensure adherence to established agreements and internal policies.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis and contract performance.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, supply chain, or contract management.
• Experience managing technical or vendor contracts, ideally in aviation, aerospace, or another complex technical industry.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large datasets.
• Excellent attention to detail with experience reviewing and managing complex contracts.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the airline, aviation, or aerospace industry.
• Background working with aircraft engine or maintenance vendor contracts.
• Experience analyzing complex vendor proposals and contract pricing structures.
• Proven ability to support cost reduction or cost optimization initiatives.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in highly regulated environments.
