Overview

Seeking a highly experienced Enterprise IT Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-scale solutions with a focus on artificial intelligence, cloud architecture, and innovation. This role will drive strategy, architecture, and delivery across mission-critical systems and complex environments.

This is a fully onsite position with Part Time hours limited to 20 hours a week

Responsibilities

• Provide architectural leadership for enterprise solutions with a focus on AI and emerging technologies
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define and deliver scalable solutions
• Lead architecture across the full system development lifecycle from concept through deployment
• Define business and technical requirements and translate them into solution designs
• Develop enterprise architecture artifacts including reference architectures and design patterns
• Evaluate technologies and recommend solutions aligned with organizational strategy
• Support hybrid environments including on-prem, cloud, and multi-datacenter architectures
• Lead and guide cross-functional teams including architects, developers, analysts, and testers
• Facilitate communication and alignment across stakeholders with competing priorities
• Develop enterprise standards, policies, and governance frameworks
• Provide presentations, documentation, and reporting to both technical and executive audiences
• Participate in meetings, planning sessions, and ongoing program activities

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in artificial intelligence and enterprise-level application of AI
• 10+ years of experience as an Enterprise Architect, Solutions Architect, or similar role
• Extensive experience designing distributed, enterprise-level systems for mission-critical environments
• Experience across the full system development lifecycle (analysis, design, development, testing, deployment)
• Strong system analysis, problem-solving, and architectural design skills
• Experience leading technical teams on small to large-scale initiatives
• Experience working in both public and private sector environments
• Experience developing technical requirements for large initiatives or RFPs
• Strong experience with cloud and virtualization technologies
• Experience supporting multi-datacenter environments including on-prem, co-location, hosted, SaaS, and PaaS solutions
• Strong communication skills with ability to engage executive, business, and technical stakeholders
• Ability to build consensus across diverse stakeholder groups
• Experience developing enterprise policies and governance frameworks
• Experience with Microsoft Azure Identity Management and Azure security best practices
