Job Description:

Seeking an experienced Sr. Java Developer with expertise in Azure cloud. The role involves designing and building scalable, secure, and low-latency backend services.

Key Responsibilities

• Total 12+ years of experience in the IT industry.
• Strong Java expertise (Java 8+), with deep understanding of language fundamentals, concurrency, and performance tuning.
• Architect, design, develop, test, and maintain Java backend services and microservices on Azure.
• Build resilient, high-performance systems for trade capture, order management, pricing engines, risk calculations, and portfolio services.
• Implement cloud-native solutions using Azure services like AKS, App Service, Functions, Service BEvent Grid, Azure Storage/Blob, Cosmos DB/SQL DB, and Key Vault.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and automated deployments using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Terraform, or Bicep.
• Integrate with market data feeds, vendors, exchanges, and internal systems via REST, gRPC, FIX, WebSocket s, Kafka, or Azure Service Bus.
• Optimize application performance (JVM tuning, profiling, garbage collection, thread-safety, latency).
• Ensure observability and reliability using Application Insights, PrometheGrafana, distributed tracing, logging, and alerting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product owners, traders, quants, risk managers, QA) to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Implement security best practices including encryption, access control, and compliance for financial services.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in architecture and design reviews.
