Our client seeks a professional to handle the design and construction of scalable data management systems, ensure alignment to requirements, and research new uses for data acquisition. The role requires knowledge of data mining practices, algorithms, and data utilization.

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $55.00 to $65.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:

Design, construct, install, test, and maintain data management systems.
Build high-performance algorithms, predictive models, and prototypes.
Ensure that all systems meet business requirements and industry practices.
Integrate emerging data management and software engineering technologies into existing data structures.
Develop processes for data mining, data modeling, and data production.
Create custom software components and analytics applications.
Research new uses for existing data.
Employ an array of languages and tools to connect systems together.
Collaborate with team members such as data architects, IT, and data scientists on project goals.
Install and update disaster recovery procedures.
Recommend methods to improve data reliability and quality.

Experience Requirements:

Experience with non-relational and relational databases such as SQL, MySQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, and MongoDB.
Experience programming and/or architecting a back-end language such as Java or J2EE.

Education Requirements:
Technical Degree or related work experience.
