Expected to support discovery, architecture planning, workshops, and strategic client discussions

 

We are looking for a highly experienced Enterprise Azure Architect to lead large-scale enterprise integration and cloud modernization initiatives for a strategic client engagement in the Life Sciences domain. The architect will play a critical role in driving Azure Integration Services transformation programs, engaging with client leadership, defining enterprise architecture strategy, and guiding delivery teams through migration and modernization initiatives.

 

This is a client-facing onsite role requiring strong executive communication, enterprise architecture expertise, and hands-on experience in Azure Integration Services and large-scale cloud transformation programs.

 

The role is part of a strategic enterprise transformation initiative involving Azure Integration Services modernization for a large-scale client program. The architect will be instrumental in building client confidence, shaping architecture direction, and enabling future multi-year delivery opportunities.

 

Key Responsibilities

·         Lead enterprise architecture discussions with client leadership and executive stakeholders.

·         Define and drive Azure Integration Services modernization and migration strategy.

·         Architect scalable, secure, and enterprise-grade integration solutions using Microsoft Azure.

·         Design migration approaches from legacy integration platforms (e.g., TIBCO) to Azure Integration Services.

·         Lead technical workshops, discovery sessions, architecture assessments, and solution planning activities.

·         Define enterprise integration patterns, governance models, security standards, and best practices.

·         Collaborate with delivery, infrastructure, DevOps, security, and business teams across global locations.

·         Support proposal development, estimation, roadmap planning, and pre-sales discussions.

·         Guide implementation teams on architecture, scalability, resiliency, monitoring, and operational excellence.

·         Drive accelerator adoption, reusable frameworks, and modernization best practices.

·         Provide strategic recommendations for cloud adoption, integration modernization, and platform optimization.

·         Participate in executive reviews and represent the organization in client steering discussions.

·         Required Skills & Experience

 

15+ years of overall IT experience with 7+ years in Enterprise Azure Architecture.

·         Strong experience in Azure Integration Services:

·         Azure API Management (APIM)

·         Logic Apps

·         Azure Functions

·         Service Bus

·         Event Grid/Event Hub

·         Azure Data Factory

·         Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)

·         Proven experience leading large-scale enterprise cloud modernization and integration transformation programs.

·         Experience in TIBCO to Azure migration programs is highly preferred.

·         Strong understanding of enterprise integration architecture and hybrid cloud patterns.

·         Experience with CI/CD implementation using GitHub, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.

·         Expertise in cloud security, identity management, networking, monitoring, and governance.

·         Strong understanding of containerization and microservices architecture.

·         Experience working with executive stakeholders and leading architecture governance discussions.

·         Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications

·         Experience working with Life Sciences or Healthcare clients.

·         Microsoft Azure certifications (Azure Solutions Architect Expert preferred).

·         Experience working with global delivery teams and onsite-offshore engagement models.

·         Exposure to pre-sales, solutioning, and strategic consulting engagements.
