Summary

Job Summary:

Role Purpose:

The Cerner Invision Trainer will leverage extensive technical expertise in Cerner Invision Patient Accounting to design, deliver, and evaluate training programs for analysts. This role ensures the analysts gain mastery of complex workflows, configurations, and troubleshooting processes, enabling efficient Invision Patient Accounting operations and compliance with US healthcare standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver structured training programs on Cerner Invision Patient Accounting workflows and related modules.
  • Train staff on advanced configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization of Invision functionalities.
  • Develop training materials including manuals, quick reference guides, and e-learning modules tailored to technical and operational staff.

Provide hands-on training in:

  • Charge Description Master (CDM)
  • Room and Bed Master (R B)
  • Payor Responsibility Master (PRM)
  • Hospital Profiles (HPPI)
  • Option Master List (OML)
  • Receivable Policy Manager (RPM)
  • Case-Mix Master Diagnostic Related Groups (DRGs).
  • All other Invision Patient Accounting workflows.
  • Conduct workshops on Adhoc reporting and data extraction for operational insights.
  • Train the staff on complex requests based on the past requests.
  • Mentor staff on best practices for incident resolution and system optimization.
  • Document training processes and maintain a knowledge base for future reference.
  • Perform assessments and evaluate trainee readiness.
  • Track training KPIs and share reports with stakeholders.
  • Identify skill gaps and conduct re sessions.

Required Skills:

  • Deep expertise in Cerner Invision Patient Accounting
  • Prior professional experience delivering training programs.
  • Strong knowledge of US healthcare domain and Revenue Cycle processes

Hands-on experience with:

  • IP, OP, AR, BD Patient Master Files.
  • Non-Patient master files like CDM, R B, PRM, HPPI, OML, Case-Mix etc.
  • Adhoc reporting
  • Proficiency in Cerner EHR/EMR systems
  • TSO
  • RPM - Receivable Payor Management
  • Claim generation and Processing
  • Optional Skills
  • EMUE
  • HL7
  • Interface Management
