Summary
Vaco is partnering with a global retail organization undergoing active technology and process transformation across multiple business units. This engagement sits at the intersection of change leadership and business analysis, supporting enterprise initiatives where adoption, readiness, and stakeholder alignment are critical to success.
This role is remote and highly collaborative, with frequent interaction across cross-functional and bilingual stakeholder groups. Fluency in French Canadian is strongly preferred in order to support a diverse employee base. The consultant will be expected to operate independently, navigate ambiguity, and translate complex business and technology changes into clear, actionable communication and training strategies.
What You’ll Be Doing

Design and execute structured change management plans aligned to enterprise technology and process initiatives

Partner with project teams to embed change activities directly into implementation roadmaps

Conduct stakeholder analysis and build targeted communication strategies to drive awareness and adoption

Develop and deliver training plans, materials, and enablement resources tailored to impacted audiences

Provide coaching and support to managers leading teams through change

Assess organizational readiness and track risks, issues, and resistance trends throughout the lifecycle of initiatives

Build feedback loops including surveys and success metrics to measure adoption and effectiveness

Document current and future state processes to support impact assessments

Clarify business requirements and translate them into communication, training, and change implications

Identify dependencies, assumptions, and people-related risks tied to technology and process transformation efforts
Required Experience
-
5 or more years of hands-on organizational change management experience
-
Proven track record supporting large-scale technology or process transformation initiatives
-
Experience operating in a hybrid OCM and business analysis capacity
-
Strong capabilities in stakeholder engagement and executive-level communication
-
Experience with process mapping, impact assessment, and translating requirements into change strategies

Demonstrated experience building and executing structured training and enablement plans

Ability to manage multiple priorities within evolving or ambiguous environments

Strong presentation skills and comfort engaging audiences at all levels

Organizational change management certification preferred

Fluency in French Canadian strongly preferred
Nice to Have

Experience supporting retail or similarly complex, distributed environments

Background working within global organizations

Degree in business, communications, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
