Genesis10 is currently seeking a Technology Product Owner - Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX and Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Technology Product Owner to support the Core Technology Infrastructure organization. In this role, you will ensure the timely remediation of security vulnerabilities and the elimination of end-of-support technologies across critical infrastructure domains. Working within a team of peers, you will be aligned to a specific portfolio of infrastructure technologies, driving the prioritization of remediation activities and collaborating with engineering teams and vendors to implement effective solutions.
Responsibilities: - Ensure the timely remediation of security vulnerabilities and the elimination of end-of-support technologies
- Develop deep familiarity with vulnerability findings and lifecycle risks across your assigned portfolio
- Drive prioritization of remediation activities
- Collaborate with engineering teams, vendors, and subject matter experts to implement effective solutions
Requirements: - Hybrid schedule requirement of a minimum of 3 days per week
- Infrastructure Domain Knowledge in at least one or more: Databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL), Identity & Access Management (IAM, Active Directory, Azure AD), Middleware platforms (WebSphere, WebLogic, Tomcat), Messaging systems (Kafka, MQ, RabbitMQ), or AI / Compute infrastructure platforms
- Experience with Vulnerability Management, including understanding of CVEs, risk scores, and remediation prioritization
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Qualys, Tenable)
- Experience with Technology Lifecycle Management, including managing end-of-support (EOS) and end-of-life (EOL) risks and planning upgrades, migrations, and decommissioning
- Experience with Kafka, Python, SQL Server, and Oracle SQL/PLSQL
Desired skills: - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
- Automation or scripting experience (Python, PowerShell)
- Experience in large enterprise environments
- Certifications (e.g., CISM, CISSP, SAFe PO/PM, ITIL)
Pay range: $78.04 - $86.04 per hour
