Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled SCADA Engineer with proven experience in Ignition SCADA platforms, including both Vision and Perspective modules. The ideal candidate will bring a combination of hands-on technical expertise, intermediate scripting skills, and a foundational understanding of Industry 4.0 concepts to help drive smart factory initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain SCADA solutions using Ignition, focusing on Vision and Perspective modules.
Develop and customize automation workflows through scripting (Python, JavaScript, or Ignition s scripting environment).
Integrate databases for data logging, reporting, and analytics using SQL or other relational database platforms.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support Industry 4.0 and smart factory initiatives.
Troubleshoot and optimize SCADA systems for performance, reliability, and scalability.
Participate in system upgrades, expansions, and ongoing maintenance activities."
What are the Mandatory skills and skill proficiencies required for this position?
SCADA Expertise: Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with Ignition SCADA, including both Vision & Perspective modules.
Scripting Skills: Intermediate proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or Ignition s scripting environment, with a focus on automation, data processing, and UI customization.
Database Knowledge: Basic to intermediate experience with SQL or other relational databases, specifically in the context of data logging, reporting, and analytics.
Industry 4.0 Awareness: Foundational understanding of smart factory concepts and related technologies.
