RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is seeking a Technical Product Manager to lead critical credit card platforms supporting a large, regulated U.S. financial institution in Minneapolis, MN. This role is responsible for driving the technical strategy, roadmap, and execution of core credit card capabilities that serve millions of customers across consumer and small business portfolios.
Duties:
* Own and manage one or more core credit card platforms or capabilities (e.g., authorization, billing, rewards, servicing, disputes, fraud, digital integrations)
* Define and maintain a multi-quarter roadmap aligned to enterprise strategy, regulatory commitments, and platform modernization goals
* Balance customer experience improvements with operational resiliency, risk management, and technical debt reduction
* Translate business, regulatory, and operational needs into detailed technical requirements, epics, and features
* Partner with engineering architects to design scalable, secure solutions across legacy mainframe systems and modern cloud-based services
* Guide API strategies, data flows, system integrations, and vendor connectivity across the credit card ecosystem
* Make informed prioritization decisions considering performance, availability, security, and regulatory risk
* Lead product capabilities across the full credit card lifecycle
* Ensure adherence to regulatory and industry requirements (e.g., PCI DSS, Reg Z, Reg E, SOX, FFIEC, internal risk frameworks)
* Partner with Compliance, Risk, Legal, and Audit teams to support exams, issues management, and control remediation
* Serve as a key liaison between technology teams and business stakeholders across multiple lines of business
* Coordinate dependencies across platforms, vendors, and enterprise initiatives
* Support operational readiness, incident response learnings, and post-implementation reviews
REQUIREMENTS:
* 7+ years of product management or related experience in financial services or payments, with significant exposure to credit card platforms
* Strong technical acumen with experience working closely with engineering teams in complex, enterprise environments
* Deep understanding of credit card processing, card networks, and large-scale transaction systems
* Experience operating in highly regulated environments with formal risk and control processes
* Proven ability to influence and align senior stakeholders across business, technology, and risk organizations
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex systems clearly
Preferred Qualifications:
* Agile product certification (CSPO, SAFe PO/PM) or equivalent experience
* Experience at a large U.S. bank or issuer supporting millions of accounts
* Familiarity with mainframe-based card platforms and modernization initiatives
* Experience with cloud migration, microservices, event-driven architectures, or enterprise APIs
* Background in fraud, disputes, rewards, or digital card servicing
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
