Summary

Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and versatile .NET Developer with a strong foundation in cloud technologies and lower-level programming to join our engineering team in Seattle. In this role, you will bridge the gap between high-performance desktop/systems computing and modern cloud architecture.

As a core team member, you will design, develop, and scale robust applications using C# and .NET, leverage Azure for cloud-native capabilities, and maintain or optimize performance-critical modules written in C++.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full-Stack Backend Development: Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code using C# and the .NET framework.
  • Cloud Architecture: Architect and deploy scalable cloud solutions, APIs, and microservices natively within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
  • Systems Integration & Performance: Maintain and optimize existing C++ libraries and components, ensuring seamless interoperability with modern .NET applications.
  • Database & Data Management: Develop and optimize SQL/NoSQL databases to support high-throughput, low-latency applications.
  • Collaboration & Code Quality: Participate in active code reviews, mentor junior developers, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software sprints.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Expertise

  • Languages: High proficiency in C# and C++ is mandatory.
  • Frameworks: Extensive experience with the .NET Ecosystem (.NET Core / .NET 6+ / ASP.NET MVC).
  • Cloud Platform: Proven hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services (e.g., Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Service Bus, Storage).
  • Software Engineering Best Practices: Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP), design patterns, and writing clean, testable code.

Location & Eligibility Requirements

  • Geographic Location: Must be currently residing in the Greater Seattle Area and able to commute daily to the office.

Preferred (Nice-to-Have)

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of memory management and performance profiling in hybrid C# / C++ environments.
