We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President - Client Activation to join our Fund Services team in Pittsburgh, PA.

Overview

The successful candidate will combine deep technical knowledge of data systems with hands-on experience designing data workflows and onboarding solutions. This role bridges business requirements and technical implementation, enabling automation, improving client onboarding, and supporting complex data transformation needs across platforms, with a primary focus on scaling client onboarding and activation through standardized data and workflow frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

Data Delivery Strategy & Product Ownership
  • Lead product management of complex data delivery, reporting, and workflow enablement initiatives supporting both new and existing business.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and clients to define data delivery strategies aligned to business requirements and operational outcomes.
  • Drive the design and rollout of scalable data solutions, dashboards, and client-facing reporting aligned with SLAs and regulatory expectations.

Workflow Enablement & Process Automation
  • Lead automation initiatives through hands-on configuration and governance of workflow solutions, ensuring adoption and scalability across teams.
  • Translate business requirements into executable workflow logic, ensuring scalability, accuracy, and flexibility across use cases.
  • Lead rapid prototyping and iterative delivery to validate and refine business solutions.

Data Integration & Transformation
  • Oversee data mapping and transformation across multiple systems and platforms, including accounting, billing, and client reporting ecosystems.
  • Ensure integration strategies align with enterprise APIs, data lakes, and cloud-based platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
  • Support client onboarding and vendor integrations by defining technical data flows and transformation logic.
  • Drive solutions that integrate diverse client data sources (files, APIs, external providers) into standardized onboarding and servicing models.

Governance, Quality & Controls
  • Ensure adherence to data governance, lineage, and quality standards across delivery and workflow ecosystems.
  • Embed auditability, control reporting, and exception handling within data workflows to support scalable, risk-aware processes.

Platform Adoption & Continuous Improvement
  • Promote adoption of workflow and data delivery platforms across teams, driving consistency and reuse.
  • Partner with technology teams to enhance platform capabilities, incorporating feedback from business and operational users.
  • Continuously expand expertise in emerging technologies including cloud data platforms and AI/GenAI capabilities.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication
  • Work closely with business SMEs, engineering teams, and client stakeholders to deliver solutions aligned to business objectives.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts in a clear, business-friendly manner across all levels of the organization.

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10-12 plus years of experience in data delivery, integration, workflow automation, or client solutioning within financial services or technology.
  • Strong experience delivering complex data transformation, reporting, or onboarding solutions across multiple systems or business units.
  • Experience operating in roles that blend product ownership, business analysis, and data solution design strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with tools such as SQL, Python, ETL platforms, APIs, and modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks).
  • Strong understanding of business process design, workflow configuration, and automation principles.
  • Experience working with fund accounting, onboarding, billing, or financial data workflows preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate across business and technology domains, translating requirements into scalable solutions.

Base salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
