Summary

Join an organization as a Senior System Administrator in a full-time role overseeing the Corporate IT Team with a strong focus on Microsoft cloud technologies. You'll be responsible for managing and maintaining IT systems including Azure, M365, cloud virtualization, Intune/Autopilot, office infrastructure and other third-party applications. This role combines technical expertise with team coordination, ensuring seamless communication and optimizing team performance to meet organizational technological needs. You'll play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing system efficiency and security while providing technical guidance and support to team members.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned Microsoft cloud professional to take on a leadership role that balances hands-on technical work with team oversight. You'll have the autonomy to drive automation initiatives, implement security best practices, and shape the technical direction of the Corporate IT Team. The role offers significant variety, from managing Azure and M365 environments to developing automation workflows and maintaining compliance with industry standards like HIPAA, GDPR, PCI DSS, NIST, and SOC2. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies including ServiceNow development, Meraki infrastructure, and advanced security tools like SIEM, EDR, and Purview. This isn't just a technical role but a strategic position where you'll identify opportunities for process improvement, mentor junior team members, and collaborate across departments to drive organizational success. The position offers the chance to make a real impact by streamlining operations through automation while ensuring robust security and compliance posture.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Minimum 5 years of experience in system administration with focus on Microsoft Cloud technologies
Strong proficiency managing Windows Server, Entra (Azure AD), Exchange, and Microsoft 365 environments
High level of experience with automation tools and scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Ansible
Proficient with common networking concepts and protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs
Knowledge of security best practices and experience implementing security controls for Microsoft-based systems
Experience with Azure cloud environments and services
Understanding of Intune and Autopilot device management
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively in team environment
Experience coordinating team efforts and providing technical guidance
