The Senior Systems Analyst is responsible for supporting complex application development, systems integration, and operational initiatives across enterprise environments. This role serves as a primary liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and project leadership to ensure that business requirements are accurately captured, translated, and implemented within system and process solutions. The incumbent applies industrystandard processmodeling practices, dataanalysis techniques, and modern digital tools including BPMN, SaaS integration frameworks, and AIenabled platforms to support system development, customerexperience enhancements, and continuous improvement efforts.
Essential Job Functions:
Serve as the primary point of contact with Client project staff and/or clients to define and document business and technical requirements for assigned projects.
Act as the principal liaison between business stakeholders and technical personnel to ensure alignment of project objectives, requirements, and deliverables.
Develop a comprehensive understanding of business processes, operational workflows, and system components, and translate this knowledge into detailed functional and technical specifications.
Lead or support requirementsdevelopment activities, including workplan creation, task coordination, timeline management, and resource planning.
Define and document data file extracts, automated process flows, report structures, and content specifications to support application development, enhancement, and maintenance activities.
Support customer application development and systems integration efforts involving SaaS platforms, including CRM systems, customerexperience tools, documentmanagement solutions, and financial ERP applications.
Analyze and document system interfaces, data flows, and integration points across cloudbased and onpremises applications.
Design, document, and produce ad hoc and recurring reports that summarize, analyze, and present data in support of project operations and decisionmaking.
Participate in system testing, design reviews, and code walkthroughs to validate requirements and ensure compliance with quality standards.
Audit, evaluate, track, and report on application performance and project activities to ensure adherence to QA/QC requirements.
Provide support for system maintenance activities, including the assessment of change requests, troubleshooting of issues, and coordination of enhancements.
Lead Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and file transfer requirements development
Minimum Education requirement:
Bachelor's degree in related field.
Years of Required Work-Related Experience:
5-7 years of relevant professional experience required
Equivalent combination of education and experience considered in lieu of degree.
Key Skills and Abilities Preferred:
2+ years of experience with X12 data formats (e.g. 834/820)
Demonstrated experience applying Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban) for backlog refinement, userstory development, acceptancecriteria definition, and estimation using Jira or comparable tools.
Proficiency in Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN 2.0) for documenting currentstate and futurestate workflows.
Experience supporting customer application development and systems integration involving SaaS products, APIs, and cloudbased services.
Experience supporting CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Dynamics, or comparable systems) and customerexperience technologies, including Genesys Cloud CX. Familiarity with digitalexperience solutions, customerjourney mapping, and omnichannel servicedelivery platforms.
Experience working with documentmanagement systems, workflow automation tools, and contentservices platforms.
Exposure to financial ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Workday, or similar) and understanding of financial data flows and business processes.
Proficiency with AIenabled analysis and documentation tools, including platforms that support automated requirements generation, data analysis, or process optimization.
Experience with processautomation technologies (e.g., RPA tools such as UiPath, Blue Prism, or Power Automate).
Strong working knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) and Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS).
Understanding of datamodeling concepts, data governance principles, and dataquality frameworks.
Experience collaborating with crossfunctional teams within large, matrixed organizational environments.
Extensive experience working with Jira or similar workmanagement and tracking tools.
Experience working with AWS Cloud services, including dataintegration, analytics, and applicationdevelopment components.
Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to nontechnical audiences.
