In this hands-on technical role, you will design, build, and deploy AWS AI Agents (using Amazon Bedrock) to automate repetitive support tasks, streamline incident triage, and integrate intelligent workflows across complex data ecosystems.

Operating within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment, this role offers an exciting opportunity to drive digital transformation, maintain operational observability, and build scalable automated pipelines supporting a major multi-district data platform initiative.
Key Responsibilities
  • AI Agent Development & Automation: Design, build, and deploy AWS AI Agents using Amazon Bedrock Agents to automate support operations, incident triage, log analysis, and alert correlation. Develop custom agent skills and action groups to extend operational capabilities.
  • Production Support & Observability Integration: Integrate AI agents with core observability platforms (CloudWatch, Grafana, Container Insights) to enable intelligent, automated responses to production events. Translate manual runbooks and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) into automated agent-driven workflows.
  • Data Pipeline & Infrastructure Integration: Work with Databricks data pipelines to ensure AI agents can access operational and support data for robust decision-making. Build and manage CI/CD deployment pipelines using GitLab.
  • Governance, Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all agent architectures align with strict governance, data privacy, model risk, and regulatory standards. Document agent workflows, system logic, and runbooks for technical auditors and support teams.
  • Training & Enablement: Deliver training sessions, workshops, and knowledge-transfer documentation to empower internal support staff and end users on newly automated tools and workflows. Participate in scheduled on-call rotations (8:00 AM-2:00 PM ET or 2:00 PM-8:00 PM ET, Monday through Friday).
Qualifications & Technical Requirements
  • AI Agents & LLM Orchestration: Hands-on experience building and deploying AWS AI Agents specifically using Amazon Bedrock Agents, including prompt engineering, knowledge bases, agent orchestration, and designing custom action groups.
  • AWS Cloud & Automation Services: Strong experience with core AWS services (Lambda, Bedrock, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, EventBridge, Step Functions) and Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks (Terraform or CloudFormation).
  • Observability & CI/CD Tooling: Proven experience integrating automation solutions with observability stacks (CloudWatch, Grafana, Container Insights) and managing deployment pipelines using GitLab CI/CD.
  • Data Ecosystems: Working knowledge of Databricks for data access, pipeline integration, and supporting operational decision-making.
  • Governance & Regulatory Standards: Understanding of AI/ML governance considerations, model risk, data privacy, and secure deployment practices within regulated or financial services environments.
  • Agile/SAFe Framework: Experience delivering technical solutions within an Agile/SAFe environment utilizing tracking tools like Jira.
Soft Skills & Core Competencies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to train, mentor, and simplify technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Patient and effective mentor dedicated to building up team capabilities and driving self-sufficiency.
  • Strong collaboration skills across cross-functional teams, including platform engineering, security, support, and end users.
  • Self-starter capable of working independently while maintaining a strong customer-service orientation.
