Apple Endpoint Engineer/Jamf Administrator/MDM Architect

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Jamf Technology Consultant / Architect to design, architect, and oversee the Retail Mobile Device Management (MDM) platform supporting Apple devices across the enterprise.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Jamf, Apple MDM, Apple Business Manager (ABM), macOS/iOS management, and enterprise integrations, with strong experience designing scalable, secure, and highly available solutions for retail environments.

The candidate will work closely with customers, engineering teams, retail application teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to define requirements, develop architecture strategies, implement best practices, and drive automation and operational improvements.

Required Qualifications

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Frisco, TX, or be willing to relocate to the area.
• Position may require occasional travel within the United States.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Three years of progressive experience in the specialty may be considered in lieu of each year of education.
• 10+ years of overall Information Technology experience.
• Extensive experience with Jamf projects, preferably within Retail environments.
• Strong understanding of Retail MDM processes and enterprise device-management requirements.
• Jamf 400 certification strongly required.
• Extensive experience with MDM architecture and Apple ecosystem management.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Jamf Pro and Apple Business Manager (ABM).
• Strong experience managing macOS and iOS devices at enterprise scale.
• Experience designing secure, scalable, and highly available MDM architectures.
• Experience with Snowflake, Power BI, ServiceNow, and enterprise system integrations.
• Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, automation, and enterprise workflows.
• Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.

Key Responsibilities

MDM & Jamf Architecture

• Define, design, and maintain the architecture for the enterprise Retail MDM and Apple Business Manager infrastructure.
• Architect scalable and secure Jamf solutions supporting large-scale Apple device deployments.
• Establish standards and best practices for device enrollment, configuration, application deployment, compliance, and lifecycle management.
• Provide architectural guidance for Jamf upgrades, iOS/macOS releases, security patches, and platform enhancements.
• Collaborate with Jamf engineering and Retail Application teams to implement new features, workflows, and capabilities.

Apple Device Management

• Architect solutions for iOS and macOS device enrollment, provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management.
• Design and support native and web application deployments.
• Define managed application configurations and enterprise application deployment strategies.
• Establish standards for configuration profiles, policies, restrictions, certificates, and device compliance.
• Support quarterly iOS/macOS updates and enterprise-wide device-management activities.
