Position Title: Business Technical Analyst
Location: Lawrenceville, GA
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Business Technical Analyst to:
- Evaluate and understand current business processes and systems
- Identify improvement opportunities
- Document current and future state workflows
- Act as a key liaison between business and IT teams, translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements
- Coordinate activities across stakeholders and ensure progress tracking and deliverable follow-through
- Communicate findings effectively to technical and non-technical audiences, including leadership
🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business processes and systems to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and root causes
- Assess system functionality and identify defects or improvement opportunities
- Gather, document, and validate business & system requirements
- Create and maintain documentation:
- Process flows
- System diagrams
- Requirements
- Issue logs
- Perform data analysis (Excel, SQL) to validate issues and identify trends
- Support testing activities:
- Functional testing
- Integration testing
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Translate complex technical issues into executive summaries and actionable insights
- Collaborate with business & IT stakeholders to define solutions
- Conduct:
- Workshops
- Interviews
- Analysis sessions
- Ensure clear and consistent stakeholder communication throughout delivery
✅ Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role
- Strong expertise in:
- Process & systems analysis
- Root cause analysis
- Experience with system testing (UAT, integration, functional testing)
- Excellent communication skills (technical + business)
⭐ Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor''s degree in Business, IT, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in:
- Business / Functional / Data Analysis
- Requirements documentation & system validation
- Strong experience in:
- Process documentation
- System documentation
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, Outlook)
- 10+ years of:
- Customer-facing experience
- Stakeholder engagement & presentations
- Experience with full SDLC lifecycle (requirements → deployment)
