The Opportunity

StaffRight Associates has partnered with a premier corporate organization in Buffalo, NY to identify a talented technology professional for a direct-hire position. This hybrid role requires four days of on-site collaboration per week and is central to the modern execution of our client''s technology strategy. In this position, you will spearhead the evolution, safety, and operational superiority of an enterprise-level technology ecosystem.

Operating as an external recruiting partner, StaffRight Associates is dedicated to alignment with specialized talent who can elevate system dependability, fortify defenses, and champion modern operational practices. Please note that subcontracting and corporate partnership (C2C) structures are not eligible for this opening.

What You’ll Do

  • Orchestrate the comprehensive setup, configuration, protection, and enhancement of hybrid enterprise networks, bridging physical hardware with cloud-hosted virtual machines, storage blocks, and security mechanisms.

  • Architect resilient business preservation protocols, establishing automated data preservation, failover pathways, and routine verification drills to shield core operating systems against unforeseen disruptions.

  • Govern enterprise identity landscapes and hypervisor ecosystems, overseeing structural access policies, credential verification pathways, and directory synchronization routines.

  • Champion systemic defensive postures by executing operating system reinforcement, neutralizing discovered exposures, deploying recurring updates, and enforcing strict identity governing policies.

  • Analyze environmental performance analytics, computing capacity, and system health vectors to pre-emptively secure maximum availability, smooth scaling, and resource efficiency.

  • Resolve complex technical roadblocks escalated by support personnel, spearheading forensic post-mortem investigations and engineering permanent structural remediations.

  • Synthesize core internetwork protocols, managing nameservers, dynamic IP provisioning, secure encrypted tunnels, and gateway configurations while resolving cross-platform routing friction.

  • Partner with risk-mitigation and compliance specialists to facilitate external operational examinations, threat evaluations, and statutory alignment activities.

  • Produce meticulous engineering blueprints, operational instruction books, and layout schematics while continuously auditing cloud utilization to reveal fiscal efficiencies.

  • Steer third-party service provider engagements and direct overarching transformation plans, system transitions, and infrastructure renewal campaigns.

What You Bring

  • Seven Plus Years of dedicated professional technology background, including a minimum of Five Years maintaining mixed infrastructure footprints.

  • Windows Server, Virtualization, and Microsoft Azure IaaS foundational administration capabilities.

  • Microsoft Azure configuration expertise, specifically encompassing Virtual Networks, Virtual Machines, Storage, and Security Controls.

  • VMware, Hyper-V, Active Directory, and Azure AD administration capabilities.

  • Infrastructure Security, Server Hardening, and Vulnerability Management implementation awareness within audited corporate spaces.

  • PowerShell development experience used directly for environment configuration and process mechanization.

  • Networking Fundamentals, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, Firewalls, and Routing protocol diagnostic expertise.

  • Backup And Disaster Recovery Solutions, Infrastructure Monitoring Tools, and Microsoft 365 Infrastructure integration familiarity.

  • Autonomous diagnostic capability and deductive reasoning skills sharpened within fluid, rapid-turnaround corporate ecosystems.

Compensation & Total Rewards

  • Annual Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000 / Annually
