A minimum of three (3), and preferably four to seven (4–7) years, of professional
experience in data engineering, business intelligence, data analytics, or a related
information technology discipline.
Demonstrated experience designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining
enterprise reporting and business intelligence solutions.
Experience integrating, transforming, and analyzing data from multiple enterprise
systems using SQL and modern data engineering techniques.
Experience developing interactive dashboards, scorecards, and executive
reporting using Microsoft Power BI or comparable business intelligence
platforms.
Experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements and
translating those requirements into technical reporting and analytical solutions.
Experience working directly with business stakeholders to define reporting
requirements, key performance indicators (KPIs), and performance measures.
Demonstrated experience analyzing portfolio, project, financial, operational, or
governance data to support executive decision-making.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated experience
performing root cause analysis, identifying trends, and making data-driven
recommendations.
Experience developing and optimizing SQL queries, data models, and data
transformation processes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate
technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Demonstrated ability to work independently while managing multiple
assignments, priorities, and stakeholder expectations.
Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in one or more of the following:
Project Portfolio Management (PPM) systems such as Clarity, ServiceNow PPM,
Planview, Microsoft Project Online, or similar enterprise portfolio management
platforms.
Portfolio management, investment management, project governance, or
executive portfolio reporting.
Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Microsoft
SQL Server, or comparable Microsoft analytics technologies.
Enterprise data warehousing, semantic models, or business intelligence
architecture.
Developing automated reporting solutions using APIs, ETL processes, scripting
languages, or data integration platforms.
Government, public sector, or other large enterprise reporting environments.
Project management methodologies including PMI PMBOK, Agile, Scrum,
Kanban, or SAFe.
Financial management, capital investment management, or portfolio performance
reporting.
