Senior Data Engineer

A minimum of three (3), and preferably four to seven (4–7) years, of professional
experience in data engineering, business intelligence, data analytics, or a related
information technology discipline.
 Demonstrated experience designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining
enterprise reporting and business intelligence solutions.
 Experience integrating, transforming, and analyzing data from multiple enterprise
systems using SQL and modern data engineering techniques.
 Experience developing interactive dashboards, scorecards, and executive
reporting using Microsoft Power BI or comparable business intelligence
platforms.
 Experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements and
translating those requirements into technical reporting and analytical solutions.

 Experience working directly with business stakeholders to define reporting
requirements, key performance indicators (KPIs), and performance measures.
 Demonstrated experience analyzing portfolio, project, financial, operational, or
governance data to support executive decision-making.
 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated experience
performing root cause analysis, identifying trends, and making data-driven
recommendations.
 Experience developing and optimizing SQL queries, data models, and data
transformation processes.
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate
technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
 Demonstrated ability to work independently while managing multiple
assignments, priorities, and stakeholder expectations.
Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in one or more of the following:
 Project Portfolio Management (PPM) systems such as Clarity, ServiceNow PPM,
Planview, Microsoft Project Online, or similar enterprise portfolio management
platforms.
 Portfolio management, investment management, project governance, or
executive portfolio reporting.
 Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Microsoft
SQL Server, or comparable Microsoft analytics technologies.
 Enterprise data warehousing, semantic models, or business intelligence
architecture.
 Developing automated reporting solutions using APIs, ETL processes, scripting
languages, or data integration platforms.
 Government, public sector, or other large enterprise reporting environments.
 Project management methodologies including PMI PMBOK, Agile, Scrum,
Kanban, or SAFe.
 Financial management, capital investment management, or portfolio performance
reporting.
