A Product Transformation Manager/Coach
Guiding both product management practices, principles and agile methodologies within a team or organization, ensuring alignment between business needs and efficient product development by facilitating communication, prioritizing features, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement through agile principles. Focusing on Consumer Obsessed through skills of Human Centered Design, Design thinking and Product Management.
Key responsibilities may include:
• Product Strategy Coaching:
• Collaborate with product teams to refine product vision, roadmap, and prioritize features based on
customer needs and business goals.
• Facilitate product discovery sessions to gather user feedback and identify market opportunities.
• Help product teams develop strong product metrics to measure success and track progress.
• Agile Coaching:
• Train teams on Agile principles, practices (Scrum, Kanban), and ceremonies (sprint planning,
retrospectives, daily stand-ups).
• Identify and address impediments that hinder team progress, working with stakeholders to remove
obstacles.
• Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within teams.
• Alignment and Communication:
• Bridge the gap between product vision and technical implementation by facilitating communication
between product owners, developers, and stakeholders.
• Ensure transparency in product development by providing clear updates on progress and roadblocks.
• Facilitate backlog grooming sessions to refine user stories and prioritize features.
• Leadership and Mentorship:
• Coach product manager and owners on effective backlog management, user story writing, and
stakeholder engagement.
• Mentor team members on agile practices and help them develop their skills in collaboration and
problem-solving.
• Drive Teams Product and Agile maturity
Required Skills and Experience:
• Deep understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
• Proven 3+ coaching team coaching experience
• Proven experience in product management, including product strategy, roadmap development, and market
analysis
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to facilitate cross-functional teamwork
• Strong coaching and mentoring abilities to guide individuals and teams
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and navigate complex organizational dynamics
• Product Orientation and proven results driven experience.
• 8+ years Product Management Experience
• JIRA experience: Expert level user and admin
Certifications:
Required: One of Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO), SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM), Certified Product Manager (CPM) or
Agile Certified Product Manager and Product Owner (ACPMPO):
Preferred Certifications and Experience
Scaled Agile SPC
Certified Enterprise Coach (CEC) or Certified Scrum Trainer (CST)
Rally User and Admin experience
