Job Description
We are looking for a Software Developer to design, develop, test, and support web-based business applications while collaborating with stakeholders to deliver scalable and maintainable software solutions. This position will be a full-time contract and remote.
What You\'ll Do
Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications that support business and operational objectives
Develop backend services and web applications using .NET Core and related technologies
Write, optimize, and maintain SQL Server database objects, queries, stored procedures, and functions
Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into software solutions
Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support
Develop and maintain front-end functionality using JavaScript and modern web technologies
Perform unit testing, integration testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of software applications
Maintain source code and collaborate with development teams using Git version control
Create and maintain technical documentation, system documentation, and development standards
Support application enhancements, upgrades, defect resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives
Participate in code reviews and contribute to software quality and development best practices
Work collaboratively within Agile or iterative development environments
What You\'ll Need
Required:
3+ years of software development experience
Experience developing applications with .NET Core
Strong experience with SQL Server, including database design, query development, and performance optimization
Experience with JavaScript development
Experience using Git version control
Experience working through the full Software Development Life Cycle
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience troubleshooting and debugging software applications
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Experience collaborating with technical teams and business stakeholders
Preferred:
Experience with Microsoft MVC
Experience with Microsoft Entity Framework
Experience with ASP.NET or C#
Experience working in Agile development environments
Experience developing web-based applications and REST APIs
Experience with front-end frameworks and modern web technologies
Experience supporting enterprise business applications
Knowledge of software testing and deployment best practices
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

$100,000 - $115,000 per year
The pay range for this position is listed above.Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role receive paid time off and may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
