Network Engineer

CMK Resources is hiring a Network Engineer

Are you a hands-on Network Engineer who enjoys solving complex infrastructure challenges while also contributing to impactful projects? This role gives you the opportunity to work across a dynamic, multi-site environment where your expertise directly supports business operations and growth.

What you’ll do

In this role, you’ll take ownership of both day-to-day network support and key infrastructure initiatives. You will:

• Design, implement, and support network environments including LAN, WAN, WLAN, and network segmentation

• Configure and maintain core infrastructure such as firewalls, VPNs, and network servers

• Support and enhance Windows-based environments, including Active Directory (DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, RDS, file/print services)

• Troubleshoot and resolve network and system issues to ensure uptime and performance

• Partner with internal teams and external providers to maintain security and infrastructure integrity

• Contribute to infrastructure improvements by prioritizing enhancements aligned with business needs

You may also have the opportunity to:

• Work with SD-WAN technologies and vendor/carrier relationships

• Support cloud platforms and identity tools like Office 365 and Okta

• Participate in or lead infrastructure-related projects

• Help scope, plan, and estimate technical solutions

What you bring

You’re someone who enjoys balancing hands-on technical work with broader infrastructure improvements.

Core experience:

• 3–5+ years in network or infrastructure roles

• Strong experience in Windows environments and core infrastructure services

• Hands-on experience with virtualization (VMware or Hyper-V)

• Ability to manage both operational support and project work

Nice to have:

• Experience in multi-site or distributed environments

• Exposure to SD-WAN or cloud-based identity platforms

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field

What to expect in this role

• A mix of office and on-site work across operational environments

• Occasional hands-on work with hardware (up to ~40 lbs) and infrastructure setups

• A standard 40–45 hour work week with occasional on-call or off-hours support

• Travel to regional facilities as needed
