Systems & Network Engineer

CMK Resources is hiring a Systems and Network Engineer for a leading company in the distribution industry. This is a high-impact, hands-on role where you’ll take ownership of core infrastructure across a multi-site environment.

You’ll work across networking, systems, and security—supporting day-to-day operations while driving key improvements.

What you’ll do

• Own and support Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Windows environments
• Manage network and infrastructure operations (LAN/WAN/WLAN)
• Manage Palo Alto firewalls, VPNs, and core networking
• Take full ownership of certificate management (tracking, renewals, remediation)
• Manage virtualization (VMware / Hyper-V)
• Troubleshoot issues impacting uptime, performance, and security
• Partner with internal teams and vendors on infrastructure initiatives

Tech environment

Palo Alto, Cisco, Aruba, VMware/Hyper-V, Active Directory, Office 365, Exchange, Extreme Wi-Fi, CrowdStrike, Okta (nice to have), ServiceNow (nice to have)

What you bring

• 5+ years of hands-on network and systems infrastructure experience
• Strong experience owning and supporting production environments
• Strong virtualization and Active Directory
• Strong Networking (Fortinet ideally or Cisco) and Palo Alto firewall experience 
• Ability to communicate clearly and represent IT in meetings
• Team-first mindset with strong ownership and accountability

What to expect

• 100% on-site (collaborative, hands-on environment)
• Occasional weekend work (with flex time)
• Low-frequency, informal on-call
